What Customers Say About Cables To Go 7 Port USB 2.0 Hub:

Also has a removable bracket that i could mount to my desk and slide the hub off when I needed to go somewhere. I like it's aluminum housing. Gives it a little heft. Bought it as a travel USB hub for my Nokia N810. Linux, Mac and Windows all worked with it out of the box. My alternative was an unpowered hub which I would need to buy a power adapter for. Works very well. No thanks.

It works great and looks better than any self-powered hub I could find on NewEgg.Pros:Works greatPlenty of portsSelf-powered (so there are no issues with my external HD)Very nice design (metallic silver and black with cool blue LED light)Heavy (doesn't move around on my desk like other hubs have)Cons:None so far. I have never heard of this company before, but this is actually a very nice hub.

I'm guessing I got a bad bit of hardware. I'm using a MacBook with Leopard OS, and have my backup drive on the firewire connection. I bought this 5 months ago, was very happy until about a month ago and now my wireless mouse keeps connecting and disconnecting as does an external drive on which I keep my photos. I have 4 items plugged into the hub which is fastened to the wall - printer, mouse, headphones, and external drive.

The power cable for the hub did not function; having many cords plugged in caused it to create interference and slowed transfers.

Cables To Go 7 Port USB 2.0 HubI am using this hub for a month and have had no problems with it.
